D.S. Kalsi  M.D.S., is the Principal and Professor and Head, Department of Periodontology at B.J.S. Dental College and Research Institute, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He did his post-graduation in Periodontology in 1992, from the reputed Punjab Government Dental College, Amritsar, Punjab, India, a well-known and one of the oldest dental colleges of the country. He has a rich teaching and research experience of over 25 years. 

Dr. Kalsi serves as a member of various boards of universities and councils of different professional bodies and is a reviewer for scientific journals. He regularly delivers invited and keynote addresses at various conferences and symposia.

Dr. Kalsi has been instrumental in developing up-to-date infrastructure and facilities for imparting quality dental education at B.J.S. Dental College and Research Institute at Ludhiana, Punjab. He also maintains a state-of-the-art dental practice at Ludhiana.
