This book was prescribed as Text book by Bangalore, Karnataka and Gulbarga Universities. The present book covers the entire syllabus of 5th semester ECE/TCE course 'Information Theory and Coding' (ITC) of VTU, Karnataka. It also covers more than 80% of the syllabus prescribed for M. Tech. (Digital Electronics) and other M. Tech. programs (Coding Theory and Error Control Coding) of VTU.
