Dr. Joseph Stewart is  both an emergency physician and teacher with 30 year experience in teaching anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to nursing students and other health professionals and anatomy and emergency medicine to medical students and residents He is also a pianist and actor who may be recognized from his appearances on the Hawall 5-0 television series He received his M.D degree from the University of Hawali School of Medicine Presently he is a full time practicing emergency physician and director of medical education for  the Dept. of Emergency Medicine Palmetto Baptist Medical Center, and adjunct lecturer in Human Anatomy at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Colunbia.
