Arnab Kumar De, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Chemistry, Raja Peary Mohan College, Uttarpara, West Bengal, obtained M.Sc. from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan ranking first class first. He obtained Ph.D. from the same University. His research areas are water and air pollution monitoring and wastewater treatment. Previously, he was associated with two national research institutes—CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicological Research and Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute. Dr. De has published 35 papers in International journals and 52 popular science articles in standard science magazines. He is a coauthor of several textbooks. He delivered talks and presented papers in several Conferences/ Symposia.
